Best Homemade Caramel Sauce Recipe
This caramel sauce is so delicious, you won't be able to do without it or use any other when serving ice cream, rice or bread pudding and dozens of other treats.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups golden corn syrup
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Directions
  1. Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat while stirring.
  2. Boil exactly 2 minutes while stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Stir in vanilla and condensed milk until well blended
  5. Pour into sterilized jars
  6. Makes 6 cups or 6 x 1 cup jars

This would be wonderful on bread pudding....now I have a craving for that.....LOL


What a coincidence, that's my favourite thing to put it on too.....except for taking a big spoonfull and just eating it like that! lol


Sounds really sweet to me, but that wont stop me from making this for our bread pudding.
