How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and butter an 8 or 9" square pan.
  • Whisk all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. In another bowl,whisk the milk,butter,and egg together. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry and gently stir until the batter is evenly moistened. Add peppers,stir to combine.
  • Bake about 25 mins.,or till toothpick inserted in bread comes out dry. Cool at least 15 mins. before serving.
