How to make it

  • Peel and grate fine uncooked potatoes.
  • Put water, butter, salt and pepper in frying pan until it becomes hot then stir in potatoes.
  • Let them cook slowly so as not to burn and stir often but do not mash.
  • Remove from fire and stir in sweet cream.
