BUTTERBALL COOKIES

- 1 c. soft butter shopping list
- 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 1/4 c. flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts shopping list
- *************************** shopping list
- confectioners sugar for rolling cookie in shopping list
How to make it
- Blend first three ingredients.
- Stir in remaining ingredients until dough is formed.
- Roll into one inchballs and place on UNGREASED cookie sheet.
- Bake until set, 10-12 minutes in 400 degree oven.
- After removing from oven, while cookies are still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar.
- ******************************************************
- (Note: it is important not to overbake. Cookies do not turn brown and are extremely fragile when rolling in sugar).
