From crabhappychick 14 years agoIngredients
- 1 cup apple juice shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 tablespoon granulated garlic shopping list
- 1 tablespoon honey shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 8 boneless chicken, breasts - I use bone-in skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 cups mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 cup white vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple juice shopping list
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Chicken: Combine brine ingredients in a large zip top bag & mix well. Add the chicken, squeeze out the air, and refrigerate for an hour - I did mine for 3 hours. Remove chicken from brine and grill as desired.
- White sauce: Mix all ingredients well. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- To serve: The recipe says to dip the chicken into the sauce, but I simply drizzled it over the tops of the chicken. Delicious!

I am a fan of Alabama white sauce and love the mayo based sauce. I posted similar Bob Gibson sauce and for cooking a whole chicken a while ago too! Great post and reminder I should make more!!!
