How to make it

  • Chicken: Combine brine ingredients in a large zip top bag & mix well. Add the chicken, squeeze out the air, and refrigerate for an hour - I did mine for 3 hours. Remove chicken from brine and grill as desired.
  • White sauce: Mix all ingredients well. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
  • To serve: The recipe says to dip the chicken into the sauce, but I simply drizzled it over the tops of the chicken. Delicious!

    I am a fan of Alabama white sauce and love the mayo based sauce. I posted similar Bob Gibson sauce and for cooking a whole chicken a while ago too! Great post and reminder I should make more!!!
