Midgelet / All my dishes 2 months, 1 week ago
I have this recipe a long time and don't even know the source. I bake the second suggested way as I prefer a softer cookie. Please make sure you beat the mixture the full time specified!

Anise happens to be an appetite suppressant so these would actually be good before a meal!!! Thank you for the great and very useful recipe post!

Love these, my sister use to make them every year around the holidays. Her's were firm but yet a bit chewy, would you get this result by letting them sit or baking right away? You have my 5

The oven repairman is coming Friday and I think these are the first thing I'll bake once it's squared away. I seem to remember a German neighbor making these soft and then dipping in semisweet chocolate and I would utterly swoon at the scent. The taste with a cup of coffee was total bliss. I am so excited to have this recipe!
