Pineapple Chess Pie

- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. flour shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup drained crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. sour cream shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 deep dish pie shell (unbaked) shopping list
- ground nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar together in a medium bowl.
- Stir in flour.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in pineapple, milk, sour cream and vanilla.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
- Bake iin prheated 325 F. oven 50-60 minutes or untila sharp knife or toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
- Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkling of chopped walnuts.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
