Chicken Stroganoff

- 3 pound chicken cut up shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 3-4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms sliced shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic minced shopping list
- 4 oz. uncooked egg noodles shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a plastic bag combine flour, salt,paprika,and pepper
- Shake chicken pieces in flour mixture, a few at a time, to coat evenly
- In a skillet melt butterand brown chicken on each side about 10 minutes
- Transfer to a 3- quart cassrole dish
- In skillet combine broth, mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
- Heat to boiling and pour over chicken
- Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- Stir uncooked noodles in with chicken mixture
- Bake 30 minutes covered
- Remove chicken for baking dish and keep warm
- Stir some of the cooked noodles into the sour cream
- Slowly add the sour cream mixture to the rest of the noodles and mushrooms still in baking dish
- Arrange noodle mixture on a serving plate
- Arrange chicken on top of noodles and serve
- Great served with a salad and bread sticks

O.K. I made it last night and it was great. Everybody loved it and wants me to make it again tomorrow. I followed the directions but increased the noodles to about 7 ounces. High 5....shibattou in Fort Mohave loved it -
