Ingredients
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup of butter milk or whole milk
  • 1 cup of Zatarain's Seasoned Fish-Fri
  • 1 cup of Panko Bread Crumbs with honey and butter(Hituji soft finished flakes )
  • 48 fl oz Vegetable Oil or Peanut Oil
  • Karjos Easispice(fish seasoning)
  • about a 1lb of fish
  • Note: The Panko Bread Crumbs are found in a chinese market. You will not be able to find them in a regular store.

Directions
  1. Pour all the oil into a deep fryer.
  2. Heat at 350.
  3. While deep fryer is getting hot.
  4. Add egg to a small bowl and beat
  5. Add milk to a bowl.
  6. Pour Zatarain's and panko in seperate plates or seperate plastic bags.
  7. Wash fish throughly in cold water, drain off excess moisture.
  8. Take a pinch of fish seasoning and put on fish( make sure you don't add to much. Because the Fish-Fri is already seasoned)
  9. Dip fish into milk.
  10. Shake or roll fish into Zatarain Seasoned Fish-Fri.
  11. Next dip into egg.
  12. Then shake or roll into the Panko Bread Crumbs
  13. Check your light on your deep fryer and make sure it is lite and ready for you to add fish.
  14. Slowly add fish to hot oil.
  15. When fish float to the top it is ready to be taken out.
  16. Note: Try not to over coat your first coating with the Zatarain because it will make the coating thick and will require you to fry your fish a little longer. Taste test your first piece to make sure it has cooked long enough. If it is over coated you will have to allow a little more time.

Hello mjcmcook I would love to be your food friend. The Easispice is something I picked up while in a Jamaican market here in town. If you don't have any markets where you live. You are able to buy online. I did a search and came up with a few options for you. Here is what I put in the search bar:Easispice Manufacturers.com
