Sweet Focaccia

- Dough: shopping list
- 2 1/2 c water shopping list
- 1 pk yeast shopping list
- 1/4 c oil ( olive ) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 5 c flour shopping list
- 3/4 c sugar shopping list
- Pinch salt shopping list
- 1/2 c raisins ( dark, gold or a mixture ) shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- sugar/cinnamon as desired shopping list
- optional: halved seedles purple grapes shopping list
- optional: drizzles of fruity light olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- add oil and egg.
- add to dry ingrdients and mix well into a soft kneadble dough
- Add raisns and knead well. until smooth and elastic
- Allow to to rise once double in bulk.( in a greased bowl, covered in a warm place )
- Punch down lightly and press out or roll out to fit a greased jellyroll
- or baking pan.
- Press fingers t dough lightly here and there to form a little depression
- Drizzle with oil if desired
- Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes or cooked and golden
- Note: halved seedless purple grapes are also a nice sweet topping addition to the recipe
