Incredible strawberry cake sure to please all. This is so moist, so fruity and so pretty. Serve with pride.

Ingredients
- 10 ounces frozen strawberry daiquiri thawed
- 1 strawberry cake mix
- 1-1/2 ounces dream whipped topping mix dry
- 1 tablespoon lime peel grated
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350. Prepare rectangular cake pan with cooking spray the set aside. In a mixing bowl combine cake mix, dry whipping topping and lime peel. Add daiquiri mix, egg whites and oil then mix until moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 40 minutes. Spread whipped topping evenly over top cooled cake.

I agree, that is so pretty and delicious sounding. I'm a strong believer in presentation. One question though, I don't think I've ever seen strawberry cake mix around here, is there actually such a thing? I would think that the strawberry daiquiri would give most of the flavor, I could always add a little red food coloring. What do you think?

Strawberry cakes are plentiful here, but I don't know why a white cake mix wouldn't work since all over the other flavors go into it. Let me know if you give it a try.
