Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1 stick room temp.
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour sifted
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 cup fat reduced milk
  • 1/2 cup sorhum or molasses{I prefer Sorghum}
  • 1/4 cup Jack Daniels whiskey{ may sub- 3 tbs. water 2 tsp. vanilla}
  • Preheat oven 350

Directions
  1. Beat butter using mixer at med, speed gradually add sugars and beat till creamy.Add eggs beat one at a timeafter each addition scrape sides of bowl. combined Flour Baking powder salt cinnamon and baking soda.Add egg mixture alternate with milk from beginning to end with dry ingredients.Stop mixer add sorghum,restart mixer and whiskey slowly mix till smooth{batter will be thin
  2. Pour into 9 inch springform pan.Bake 35-45 minutes untill wodden pick comes out clean .serve with _____Sorghum Frozen Yogurt
  3. 4 cups plain low fat yougutr, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar,1/2 cup sorghum, 1 tsp, vanilla
  4. Combine ingredients in large bowl pour mixture into the canister of ice cream maker freeze acc, to manufatures instructions Makes 5 cups
