Lots of people enjoy making their own mixes , and sometimes more economical to make their own kind of mixes for baking, esp during holiday season

Ingredients
- 8 Cups Flour
- 1 1/4 Cups Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
- 1/4 Cup Baking Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 2 Cups Shortening
Directions
- Combine flour, milk, baking powder, and salt in a very large bowl.
- Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
- Store in tightly closed covered container in a cool place.
- Makes about 10 cups.

This is used just as one would use to make any recipe that requires Bisquick baking mix.
There is a group here called Bisquick baking mix and recipe. That would be the ideal place to look at the recipes posted. So any recipe calling for say one cup of Biscuit baking mix, just use this mix instead!
