Spicy Pepperoni Biscuits

- 2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper shopping list
- 1/3 cup shortening shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pepperoni shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 5 ingredients; cut in shorteneing with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
- Stir in pepperoni.
- Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead 3 or 4 times.
- Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut dough 2 or 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter and place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Yield; 1 dozen
