How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Combine all the ingredients except oatmeal in a food processor.
  • Blend until completely smooth, scraping the sides of the processor as needed.
  • Pulse in the oatmeal.
  • Scrape into a parchment-lined, greased 8×8 in pan
  • Bake 35-40 minutes.
  • Chill in the fridge before slicing for best results.

    looks pretty yummy. Some of the ingredients are unheard of to me, though. I'll try this when I finally decide to buy an oven.

    Greek - Demerara and turbinado sugars are both often referred to as “raw sugar” in the United States, but Demerara is very dark, almost bitter smelling from the molasses and very sticky (think really moist brown sugar). I usually get mine at a bulk food store, health food stores will have it too. You can always swap in an equal amount of dark brown sugar, if you like ass about 1-2 tsp of molasses when you do if you want the bitter edge.
