How to make it

  • In a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook shells 8 minutes, drain; cool.
  • In medium bowl mix Ricotta and Swiss cheese with ground beef, onion, basil and egg yolks. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of mixture into each shell; press edges of shell together.
  • Place shells in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Pour a prepared spaghetti sauce on top; 350. sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top. Bake covered for 25 minutes. Uncover, bake 10 more minutes. Let set for at least 15 minutes before serving to let cheeses set.

    this sounds really good. i would never have thought to put swiss cheese in stuffed shells. i gotta try this one.. thank you for the great post!
