How to make it

  • For Base:
  • Brown the hamburger and onion and drain.
  • On each tortilla, put hamburger in a strip down the middle.
  • Add picante sauce (and extra chilies) and some cheese.
  • Roll up and put in a 9X13 inch pan with seam on bottom.
  • For Sauce:
  • Melt butter and add flour, stirring well.
  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and add slowly to flour mixture.
  • Slowly add green chilies and sour cream, stirring well.
  • Pour on top of enchiladas.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Add grated cheese on top of enchiladas, and put back in oven for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
