- 1 lb. hamburger shopping list
- 1 med. onion, diced shopping list
- 4 oz. picante sauce shopping list
- 1 c. grated cheese shopping list
- 6 med. flour tortillas shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 4 T butter shopping list
- 4 T flour shopping list
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes shopping list
- 1 1/3 c. water shopping list
- 4 oz. diced green chilies shopping list
- 1 c. sour cream shopping list
- 1 c. grated cheese shopping list
How to make it
- For Base:
- Brown the hamburger and onion and drain.
- On each tortilla, put hamburger in a strip down the middle.
- Add picante sauce (and extra chilies) and some cheese.
- Roll up and put in a 9X13 inch pan with seam on bottom.
- For Sauce:
- Melt butter and add flour, stirring well.
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and add slowly to flour mixture.
- Slowly add green chilies and sour cream, stirring well.
- Pour on top of enchiladas.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Add grated cheese on top of enchiladas, and put back in oven for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
