O Henry Bars

My mom use to let my sister and I make these.. they were always a fav. around our house.
Ingredients
- 1c Karo syrup shopping list
- 1c sugar shopping list
- 4c Rice Krispies shopping list
- 1 1/2 c crunchy peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2c buttercotch chips shopping list
- 1/2c chocolate chips shopping list
- 9x13 pan buttered or sprayed with pam shopping list
How to make it
- Measure and have all ingredients ready before beginning preparation
- Heat syrup and sugar to boiling
- pour over and mix into Rice Krispies
- in large bowl add peanut butter to above mixture and mix well
- put into shallow pan with smooth surface
- press down into pan
- Topping
- In separate pan over low heat
- melt buttercoth and chocolate chips until smooth
- pour over rice krispie mixture
- allow to cool and cut into squares
- enjoy!
