Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine 4 tablespoons soy sauce, Sherry and cornstarch in a bowl large enough to hold the beef
  • Add sliced beef and stir to coat
  • Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature
  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot
  • Add 3 tablespoon oil, swirling to coat the pan,add beef, including all of the marinade, and stir fry about 2 minutes
  • Remove beef from skillet
  • Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to skillet
  • Add garlic and chili flakes
  • Cook, stirring, for about 10 seconds
  • Add green onions and stir fry for 1 minute
  • Return meat and any juices to skillet
  • Add hoisin sauce and remaining 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Cook just until heated through
  • Serve over Jasmine Rice
