Baked Potato Soup

- 2/3 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 7 cups milk shopping list
- 4 large potatoes, baked, cooled, shopping list
- peeled and cubed shopping list
- (about 4 cups) shopping list
- 4 green onions, slicled shopping list
- 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled shopping list
- 1&1/4 cups shredded chedder cheese shopping list
- 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In a large soup kettle or dutch oven, melt the butter.
- Stir in flour; heat and stir until smooth.
- Gradually add milk, stiring constantly untill thickend.
- Add potatos and onions.
- Bring to a boil, stiring constantly.
- Reduce heat; simmer for ten (10) minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese it is melted.
- Serve immediately.
