Yup...it sounds crazy...but minimal money makes you creative. 9 ingredients is all you need for this mouth-watering dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 8-count bag of hot dog buns, torn into pieces.
  • 4-1/2 cups whole milk, or part half/half for richer "pudding"
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange liquor OR pure vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped peans or macadmaia nuts
  • Ice Cream
  • Whipped Cream

Directions
  1. Place torn pieces of hot dog buns into a large bowl.
  2. Add milk and/or half and half, eggs, sugar, orange liquor or vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Mix.
  4. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes, or until top is golden brown and "puffed".
  5. It WILL "fall" when it cools.
  6. Cool.
  7. Serve with ice cream and/or whipped cream.
