B B C Cake

The BBC cake is short for the banana blueberry chocolate cake! decadent and delicious, it's easy and tasty. Try with whipped cream for dessert or serve anytime - no icing/frosting required. No credit to me, it's the Wife's recipe!
Ingredients
- 150g butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1tbsp runny hunny shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla essence shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 5 ripe bananas, mashed shopping list
- 2 tsp bicarb of soda dissolved in same amount hot milk shopping list
- 1.25 cup standard flour shopping list
- 1 cup cocoa powder (good quality) shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 250g blueberries shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar together in a bowl large enough to add everything else to
- add honey, vanilla, eggs and combine
- add bananas, soda, baking powder and combine
- add flour and cocoa powder bit by bit and combine
- add blueberries and stir through
- pour into greased 12" baking tin
- cook in 180c / 350F / moderate oven for 45 minutes, checking after 40 mins using the 'skewer' method. Cake may need more or less time depending on mushiness of bananas!
