Ingredients
- 750 ml of grain alcohol shopping list
- 10 small lemons shopping list
- 600 ml of water shopping list
- 2 cups of sugar Remove from heat. shopping list
How to make it
- Limoncello
- Step 1
- Pour 750 ml of grain alcohol into container.
- Peel rinds of 10 small lemons and place rinds into container with grain alcohol.
- Set in a cool dark place, (under sink) for about 2 weeks.
- Step 2
- After week 2, bring 600 ml of water to a boil.
- Add 2 cups of sugar to water and continue to boil until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
- Strain rinds from grain alcohol - keep grain alcohol - dispose of rinds.
- Pour water/sugar mixture into grain alcohol.
- Distribute to bottles and freeze.
- Step 3
- Ready to serve next day
