Gingerbread Brownies

- -1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- -1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- -1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- -1/2 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- -2 teaspoons ground ginger shopping list
- -2 teaspoons ground cinnamon shopping list
- -1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- -1 teaspoon ground cloves shopping list
- -1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
- -1/3 cup molasses shopping list
- -2 eggs shopping list
- -powdered sugar (optional) shopping list
- -vanilla ice cream (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- -preheat oven to 350F.
- -in large bowl combine flour, brown and white sugar, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and cloves. set aside.
- -in small bowl combine melted butter, molasses and eggs and add to flour mixture, stirring until well combined. Do not beat (the batter will be thick).
- -spread batter in greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
- -take out of oven and cool on wire rack for about 5 minutes.
- -dust with powdered sugar (optional).
- -cut into about 24 squares.
- -serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional) and a cup of hot chocolate (optional)!
- -enjoy!
