Fried dill pickles are a Southern staple and not off the wall in this part of the world. They're common and often found in pubs as snack food and served as appetizers in restaurants. But they are usually battered and deep fried slices. I posted a recipe for deep fried southern chips some time back, if you are interested in seeing how we do it in the South. Enjoy!.

This sounds awesome we have a drive in here in Kansas called Sonic they used to make pickleo's which was dill pickle slices breaded and deep fried they quit making them because it took to long to batter each slice this recipe brings back memories Thanks for sharing it The Bakermanrooster
