How to make it

  • Thaw pork chops and trim excess fat.
  • Place the chops in a baking dish large enough for them to sit in a sinlge layer.
  • Pour enough Italian Dressing over them to just about cover.
  • Set aside and marinate for 30 minutes to an hour covered.
  • Pre-heat the grill and set at medium high. Sear both sides of the chops and then finish off with indirect heat. See Photo

I know a couple of wiseguys, you know members of the family, who might take exception to the name but I can't think of a sole who wouldn't like the recipe. Thanks. RJ

Well I'm happy that it seemed to be interesting to all of you. And MrT I did not peek in your fridge.. :) I think this is one of those things we just all overlook sometimes. I know Pat and I have fixed this quickie at least a dozen times since I joined this group and I just never thought of it as a recipe. But last night when we were cooking it, the light suddenly went on.... (where's my camera?) so I thought I would just write it up. Thanks to all of you for the interest and comments.

I've done this with chicken, but not pork chops! Great idea, thanks for sharing. I will have to do this next time.

The choice of pork chop type is up to the individual. It's hard to mess this one up. Also the Italian Dressing (of which there are hundreds) is also a personal choice. You can always add other ingredients but this is the basic.
