Grilled Beer and Swiss Burgers

- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef shopping list
- 1/4 cup beer shopping list
- 1/4 cup steak sauce shopping list
- 4 thick slices sweet vidalia onion shopping list
- 4 slices swiss cheese shopping list
- 4 kaiser rolls or hamburger buns, split and toasted shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare grill. Combine beer and steak sauce in a small saucepan. Heat to a simmer over medium low heat. Form the ground beef into 4 patties. Place the beef patties on an oiled grill rack. Arrange onion slices around the patties. Grill burgers to desired doneness and onions are tender, basting with the beer mixture and turning occasionally. Top burgers with Swiss cheese and cook an additional 1 minute until the cheese is melted. Divide the burgers between buns. Top burgers with the grilled onion slices and any remaining sauce. Serve burgers immediately.
