Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400
  • Rinse asparagus and cut off tough ends only
  • Lay asparagus spears in single layer on baking sheet lined with foil
  • Drizzle oil, pepper, salt & garlic over asparagus
  • Roll back and forth to evenly distribute seasonings
  • Roast in oven approximately 10 minutes until lightly browned and tender when pierced with fork (return to cover for a few more minutes if still tough - watch not to over cook)
  • Remove to plate and drizzle with lemon juice before serving
  • WARNING: Make at least a double batch

    Just now read about the benefits of asparagus on the Net...

    Protects the liver,good for the heart,fights cancer,infections,and eases arthritic pain...

    Sounds like a pretty good vegetable.
