Ingredients

How to make it

  • Whip heavy cream and set aside
  • Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla along with your choice of liquor (my favorite is Raspberry)
  • Mix all together
  • Fold in whipped heavy cream
  • Apply lady fingers to side of spring form pan and bottom
  • Spoon some Comstock to bottom and side (this will fill in any spaces between lady fingers)
  • Add half of cheese mixture
  • Put holes in cheese mixture and add warm preserve and swirl around
  • Add another layer of lady fingers
  • Spread more Comstock
  • Add rest of cheese mixture
  • Repeat preserve into holes & swirl
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • If you want to save some Comstock for presentation when serving

    I have been making this for at least 20 yrs. The recipe was published in a Junior Achievement cookbook I bought for a buck. My family will not eat any other cheesecake. I do not add liquor doesn't need it. A 9 inch spring form pan is the right size for this recipe. I also make my own blueberry sauce our favorite topping. also I find that whipping cream makes for a better fluffier filling I have tried them all. Fab cake.
