How to make it

  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Add the mushrooms and onion and saute until the onion is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and saute until fragrant, about a minute
  • Mix everything and pour into a baking dish.
  • Bake, covered, in a preheated 400F oven until the cheese has melted and started to turn golden brown on top, about 40-60 minutes.

    As for the recipe - it's amazing. I highly recommend it after making it several times. make sure you get a good crusty bread to go with it. I've also substituted the gruyere or graviera for swiss and had equally amazing results.
