Dry Dog Food

- 2 cups veggies: potato, carrot, pumpkin shopping list
- 1 lb (1/2kg) of minced beef, chicken, turkey, shopping list
- 2 eggs, shopping list
- 1/2 cup good plain yogurt. shopping list
- plain flour to make the mix 'rollable'. shopping list
- 1 clove garlic (in the summer for fleas) shopping list
How to make it
- Grate the veggies,
- Blend thoroughly all but the flour, then add enough plain flour to make the mix 'rollable'.
- Press into scone trays or similar, score the top with a knife into the size
- pieces you want (little pieces for small dogs, larger for your big guys) and
- bake in a slow oven until the biscuit is quite dry.
- I actually add a few capsules of fish oil and capsules of glucosamine ( my husky has arthritis.)
- Just break up the pieces when cooked and cool and store in airtight
- containers.
- Get a few trays done and freeze some also.

This looks great. When un-wanted company stops by you can put some gravy on this and dinner is served. We don't get this fancy. I get some offcuts and scraps from the butcher at about 40 cents a lb and toss 2 lbs of that in a pot with three cups of r...more
