Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1. Heat the olive oil in a suitable pot
  • 2. Add the garlic and frizz a bit
  • 3. Add the mushrooms and olives and toss that round a bit
  • 4. Add the tomatoes, wine & spices (all the stuff that’s left)
  • 5. Let Marinara Sauce simmer down slowly, stir occasionally so it doesn’t stick.
  • This is a very versatile sauce with a wide range of uses.

    This looks great, very similar to my base spaghetti sauce! I add smoked spicy paprika too, Add chilli for an Arrabiata.

    This is very close to my marinara recipe and I do believe the addition of the wine as well as optional items (bacon, mushrooms, olives) would really be great. Thanks for sharing!
