This is not your ordinary taco salad!! It goes great with summer suppers cooked on the grill (burgers, steaks, fish, chops, etc.). I make it for every family reunion and never have left overs.

- 1 Iceberg Lettuce
- 1 15 oz. can Ranch style beans, washed and drained
- 2-3 green onions, finely chopped or 1/2 small sweet onion
- 1 8 oz. package of finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritoes, crunched
- 1 bottle Catalina Dressing

Ingredients

1 Iceberg Lettuce shopping list
1 15 oz. can Ranch style beans, washed and drained shopping list
2-3 green onions, finely chopped or 1/2 small sweet onion shopping list
1 8 oz. package of finely shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritoes, crunched shopping list
1 bottle Catalina Dressing shopping list

How to make it

wash, drain, and tear lettuce
add beans, onions, and cheese
add chips and dressing just before serving.
toss and enjoy

Nice recipes!!
i was born in W. Memphis Ark so i can say i like seeing recipes from Tenneesee since i used to live in Memphis and Whitehaven back in 69 and 70'S

You know, it's a bit embarrassing but I had to google "ranch style beans" because I've never heard of them. Now that I know what I'm supposed to be working with, I can substitute accordingly. It's always a struggle cooking for my gf because she only eats a certain amount of things, but every ingredient in this she loves so when I make it for her, she might just mess her pants with joy. lol

I LOVE this salad! As a family, every summer we would have a picnic up at the lake & my grandma would fix this salad. Now when I fix it for my kids, I can practically smell the sunshine & fresh mowed grass. Thanks for reviving the great memories. Kinda funny how a recipe can do that...........
