Baked Potato Discs Recipe

How to make it

  • Wash potato skin good.
  • Slice the potato into ½ inch discs, discarding both ends.
  • Rinse the discs with cool water and dry with a paper towel.
  • Place the discs into a bowl and completely cover with vegetable oil.
  • Let potato soak in oil for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 325 deg.
  • Remove potato from oil and place on cookie sheet.
  • Lightly sprinkle Creole seasoning and onion powder on potato discs.
  • Cook potato discs for 20 minutes.
  • Remove potato discs from oven, flip each potato discs and lightly sprinkle Creole seasoning and onion powder on potato discs again.
  • Cook for about another 10minutes or until the potato discs are done.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy.
