How to make it

  • In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add salt and then carrots and cook until tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Drain the carrots and add back to pan with butter, honey and lemon juice. Cook until a glaze coats the carrots, 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.

    I harvested the first of my carrots today. I didn't have a pound so I cut the other ingredients in half. I loved the combination of the flavors of the sauce. I could even taste the little bit of lemon! I added a picture and a thread in IMI on 6/29/13
