My Pork Chops In Mushroom Gravy

- 6 bone-in pork chops(center cut or rib or even boneless) shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 tsp garlic poeder shopping list
- 1 onion,chopped shopping list
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic shopping list
- 1 pkg dry onion soup mix shopping list
- water to thin the soups to the consistency you want shopping list
- 1 to 1-1/2 tsp dry thyme shopping list
How to make it
- Sprinkle the chops with salt,pepper and garlic powder. Brown in a little oil in saute pan(I use electric fry pan). Add onion and brown. When chops and onion are brown,add soups(canned and dry ) and enough water to make a smooth gravy.Bring to boil ,sprinkle thyme into gravt and simmer for about 45 mins or till chops are tender. Add water as necessary.
