How to make it

  • cook macaroni
  • in a large pan , melt butter, stir in flour. Add milk, slowly.
  • bring to a boil, cook slowly 2-3 min, or till thick.
  • stir in cream cheese, velveeta,cheddar, bacon and salt.
  • drain macaroni and add the cheese sauce.
  • transfer to a greased 8-in sq pan.
  • combine melted butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over casserole.
  • Bake 350 degrees 30 min. until bubbly

    I like Mac-and-Cheese that has more than one kind of cheese. Of course I think the Velveeta is a must but the Cream Cheese is a great plus and I love the addition of bacon -- bacon, bacon, I smell BACON.
    Please consider adding this to the VELVEETA group since you are the only one that can do that. You'll have to join the group but you can always leave it after you add this dish to the group -- not that you'd want to :-). Thanks for posting this.
