How to make it

  • Brown ground chuck in a pan. Drain fat and set aside.
  • In a small sauce pan, add the Velveeta, milk, mayonnaise, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the mixture completely melts.
  • Add the browned ground chuck to the cheese sauce.
  • Wrap a piece of bacon around each hot dog, and grill until bacon is crisp. (You could also deep fry the hotdog)
  • Place hot dog in a bun, top with the cheese sauce and enjoy.

Bacon wrapped dogs -- wonderful post.
Please consider adding this to the VELVEETA group since you are the only one that can do that. You'll have to join the group but you can always leave it after you add this dish to the group -- not that you'd want to :-). Thanks for posting this.

Anything with melted cheese on top has to be good! I see you use all beef hotdogs. Any particular brand you like?

I will have to remember to take a picture the next time. Any cheese can be subsituted for velveeta, but the velveeta did melt really well.
