Ingredients

How to make it

  • heat oven to 400
  • beat eggs till frothy
  • add milk beat about 20 strokes
  • add salt and pepper, garlic and chives
  • add melted butter, blend
  • add flour and beat till just blended
  • coat 6 large popover pans with canola spray
  • pour mixture 3/4 fill in popover cups
  • place in oven
  • cook at 400 for 15 minutes
  • lover heat to 325 and cook for 15 minutes longer,or till doubled in size.
  • remove from oven grate with parmesean
  • *I sometimes put grated romano or other cheese on top after taking out of oven

    Miss having popovers so much. You have brought back many sweet memories with this recipe. It looks delicious, for sure. Never tried it with garlic. Thanks for a new adventure.

    I love popovers! I went to a summer camp as a child, and Sunday mornings were special breakfast time, the main attraction being popovers. Thanks for this great recipe!
