Spicy Red Sauce

- 1 -28 oz can of crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 5-6 Large garlic cloves, crushed shopping list
- 1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/2 cup of red wine shopping list
How to make it
- Heat 1 TBSP EVOO over medium heat
- Add crushed garlic and red pepper flakes.
- Be very careful not to let the garlic burn. Toss w/spoon frequently. The whole idea is to get the flavors of the garlic and pepper with in the oil.
- Add can of Crushed Tomatoes and wine, stir and reduce to simmer for at least 10mins. If you can allow it a bit more time that will enhance the flavor.
- Use on top of your favorite pasta and enjoy!
