Strips Of Beef In Whiskey Sauce

- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak shopping list
- 1 oz butter shopping list
- 1 large onion; chopped shopping list
- 3 tablespoons whiskey or whiskey liqueur shopping list
- 1/4 cup double cream shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the beef up into thin strips.
- Melt the butter in a medium frying pan.
- Add the beef strips and onion and cook for 5-10 minutes,
- until the beef is brown and cooked to taste.
- Stir in the liqueur and cream.
- Heat gently to reduce slightly.
- Serve at once with vegetables.
