Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook pasta, according to directions, al dente. Drain, rinse with cool water. ( I always do a little olive oil in my warm pasta)
  • carmalize onions and garlic
  • In a large size bowl
  • Add Pasta,
  • onions and garlic
  • Julienne cut all vegatable ingredients including the salami (try to cut salami so the bit size pieces will be on every fork) and add to bowl, salt and peppers, black olives, Italian dressing and any herbs you like on Italian food.(I have some that just love) See Photo
  • Combine (toss) in bowl add parmesan or romano atop your creation with a few parsley leafs and "Viva la Italy" you now have a great salad that your friends will just eat up at partys....
  • Enjoy

Do you carmalize the onions for flavor or texture?

Great flavor combo. Maybe skip the garlic salt. For some reason, my pallet just is not fond of garlic salt. Love fresh garlic though. Thanks for the post. RJ

This is pretty close to the East Coast Deli's. They also add sharp chunks of Provolone cheese. Great Post!
