Peanut Butter Slab Cookies

This is a definate family favourite, and very addictive!
Ingredients
- 125g butter shopping list
- 1/2 c castor sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp b.powder shopping list
- 1/4 c crunchy peanut butter shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3/4 tsp b.soda shopping list
- 150g any good chocolate peanut bars ( we use whittikers peanut slabs) shopping list
How to make it
- Beat butter, peanut butter and both sugars til light and fluffy..add egg and beat until well combined...stir in 1/2 the dry ingreds and chocolate thats been chopped into small chunks, mix and then add remaining sifted dry ingreds and mix well...turn out and roll into a log and wrap with cling film, refridgerate one hour ....cut into 1cm slices and place on oven tray...bake at 180 for 12 mins or until lightly golden.
- note: I normally remove cookies a min or two early to get a chewy cookie
