    This is my "go to" recipe. I use my bread machine for the dough, then bake it in the oven at 350* for 20-25 minutes. You can soften the top crust by basting it with softened butter as soon as it comes out of the oven.

    I finally got around to making this. I used my bread machine. My loaf had an air hole in it, which isn't the fault of the recipe, I am certain. This bread is very, very soft. My crust was pretty crunchy although I used the medium setting. Tasty loaf of bread. I added a couple of pictures and comments in the IMI thread below. 3/2/14

    Made this recipe again. Doubled up on the recipe. Hand mixed and kneaded. Used active dry yeast. Made more pictures. Bread is very pliable. Almost store quality.

    My first successful bread loaf. Did not use bread machine. I kneaded to make this loaf come out right. 350* for 25 minutes in a convection oven. Made some pics for you. Hope you don't mind.
