How to make it

  • Saute the onion in the butter until soft and sprinkle with flour. Add the parsley, cumin & turmeric and stir to combine well. Continue cooking for several minutes.
  • Gradually add the milk and stir until smooth. Continue cooking over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
  • Add the creamed corn and stir until heated. Ladle into serving bowls and garnish with croutons, crumbled bacon, or popcorn.
