Stovetop Clambake for Two

- 3 cups water, wine or a combination of both shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt (if using water) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 6 small new potatoes shopping list
- 8 ounces italian sausage, smoked sausage or kielbasa (optional) shopping list
- 4 ears fresh corn, husked and silk removed shopping list
- 2 dozen littleneck clams, cleaned and sand removed shopping list
- melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- In large deep skillet or Dutch oven, combine water or wine, salt (if using) thyme, potatoes and sausage.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 18 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are almost tender.
- Add corn and clams.
- Cover and cook 5 minutes or until clams open.
- Serve with melted butter.
