Vermont Maple Syrup Pork Chops

- 4 pork chops (I used 5 oz. boneless pork loin chops) shopping list
- oil as needed for browning shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup maple syrup shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly brown the pork chops in a small amount of oil, then place them in a flat baking dish with sides.
- Combine the other ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until warm; pour over chops.
- Cover and bake for 30-40 minutes, basting occasionally. Watch carefully and add more water to prevent burning, if necessary.

You get nothing but Aces from mother. She shouted with delight on first bite. I'd like to make this again with a thicker cut chop.

Used a 1 1/2" chop this time. Cut through it easily with a fork at a 45 minute bake time. Plated with Braised Potatoes And Garlic this time.
