Noirs Secret Casserole

- 1 - 2 pounds of Chuck, trimmed and cubed shopping list
- 1 Medium onion sliced or use 2 shallots sliced ( My preference) shopping list
- 1 can (10 1/4 oz) beef consomme shopping list
- 1/2 - 3/4 Cup red wine shopping list
- salt & pepper to Taste shopping list
- 1/4 - 1/2 Cup Dry bread Crumbs to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300 Degrees.
- Mix together the cubed beef, onion, consomme, red wine and salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Stir in the bread crumbs.
- Transfer to a casserole dish, cover.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours...**also can be done in a Crockpot for 5 hours on low**
- Serves 4 - 6...and can always be doubled.
- Great Sunday supper fare with Mashed Potatoes, Garlic Bread, Salad and Fresh Veggies...Enjoy!
