Ooey Gooey Cheese Stuffed Meatballs

- 1 small onion, diced shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb. ground pork shopping list
- 1 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 2 tbls. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated shopping list
- 1 tsp. italian seasoning shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes.(I can see using provolone or a combo of both) shopping list
- Your favorite marinara sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- In skillet over medium low heat, saute onions with salt and pepper until tender
- Add grated garlic and cook another minute or so
- Remove from skillet to large mixing bowl to cool
- Once onion is cool add next 9 ingredients and mix until just combined
- *Note: If mixture is too moist, add more breadcrumbs. If too dry, add more ketchup*
- Fill a #16 (2 oz.) ice cream scoop with meat mixture
- With finger, put indentation into meat mixture
- Add cheese and release from scoop
- Cover cheese with meat mixture making sure to seal cheese in; repeat until meat mixture is gone.
- Place on baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes
- Add to Marinara sauce
