Best Steakhouse Butter Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup (1/2 lb) good quality butter, room temperature (just soft enough for mixing)

2 green onions, thinly sliced

4 to 5 stalks of flat-leaf parsley, minced

1 Tbsp mustard (Dijon or grainy is best)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend for 2 minutes, just long enough to thoroughly incorporate all ingredients, scraping down after first minute. Alternatively, you can just mix everything by hand in a bowl.

Tear off two squares of plastic wrap and lay one atop the other on a work surface.

Pile the butter along one edge of the plastic, leaving a couple of inches of plastic uncovered at each end.

Roll into a log shape, wrapping in plastic as you go. Twist the ends of the plastic to form a sealed log shape.

Chill until firm.

Cut into thick slices and put on a sizzlin' hot grilled steak, and enter nirvana!
